June 21st, 2023 ushers in Cancer season, the Crab, and Tarot Card Key 7, The Chariot. We are in a Universal 7 Year and the sign of The Chariot. This is a good time for a check-in on lessons we are facing this year as the collective, as well as on a personal level.
Check out these astrological highlights during Cancer season:
6/26 - Mercury in Cancer - this is a time where we need to let communication come from the heart, particularly sensitive, emotional, and personal conversations and exchanges. Cancer being the crab is a sign that can be heart felt and emotional or shut off and temperamental. Watch how you talk to yourself and to others. Cancer is also one of the most psychic signs, so pay attention to thoughts that suddenly pop into your head, you’re not imagining it.
7/3 Full Moon in Capricorn - Full Moons are for reviewing and releasing the things in yout life that are not serving you in order to make way for something better. The Capricorn Full Moon is asking you to review the things in your life where structure is lacking, goals are established haphazardly if at all, pessimism is rampant, and boundaries are weak.
7/10 Mars in Virgo - There isn’t a more steadfast placement of Mars than when it’s in Virgo. Mars wants to see you shake things up, take action on your passions and be courageous. It also tends to bring out the competitive nature and is known for aggressiveness. Mars in Virgo is asking you to do all of that and to make a damn good game plan before you do it. It’s time to get organized, make a solid XYZ list, clean and declutter and prepare to turn dreams into reality for the long haul.
7/11 Mercury in Leo - when Mercury is in Leo, it’s time to be daring and bold in our communication. If you have had something to say or perhaps want to share a passion with others, it’s time to get out there and tell the world about it! Lead with authority, strut your stuff and give it a little flare.
7/17 New Moon in Cancer - New Moon are for setting intentions and planting seeds for the things that you want to see grow. The Cancer New Moon is good for focusing on those things that deal with the home, family, emotional intelligence, and just taking care of ourselves and others in general.
Here’s a look ahead at what Cancer season will bring or how each zodiac sign can work with the energy this season. To get a more well rounded picture, look at your Sun, Moon and Rising zodiacal signs.
Aries - The High Priestess - Take the time to be silent and still in order to feel the undercurrent and better connect with your intuition. Your subconscious mind is also there feeding you tiny bits of information, it’s just a matter of taking the time to listen and decipher their message. This is also a great time for deep study on philosophy and religion, and connection with the Divine Feminine in your faith or spiritual system.
Taurus - Six of Wands RX - Be careful of not letting your ego get the best of you, it’s a short fall from pride to pity. If you find yourself winning at something, take the time to appreciate your success, but don’t hold onto it too tightly. You’ll also want to watch for this in others, particularly someone that has allowed their big head to get in the way of doing the right thing or stepping up to the plate when needed. If you are a horseback rider, be extra careful or falls and injuries.
Gemini - Six of Pentacles - If you have the means to give, then give. If you are in need of assistance, then ask and be willing to receive. This isn’t just about money or physical things, it can be lending a helping hand to a friend that is moving or making extra food for your neighbor next door. Be generous with what you have and the Universe will be generous with you.
Cancer - Three of Cups - Did someone say that today is a good day for a celebration? Because it is! This season you’ll find yourself in good company with friends and/or family, as well as the potential for creative collaborations and finding the reasons to celebrate. Find a reason to celebrate, life is far to short to spend it waiting for opportunities to arise to live IN-joy.
Leo - The Star RX - Despair, hopelessness and a feeling of being disconnected from yourself, your environment and Spirit is in the air, but here’s what you need to know. This is temporary. We all go through things in our life where we feel this way and anyone that tells you otherwise is lying through their teeth. Do your best to face it with the FACT that this too shall pass and that the brightest rainbows are visible after the darkest storms.
Virgo - Ten of Pentacles RX - It’s time to get super careful with money, resources and assets. This card indicates that there is a potential for financial failure or something not coming together financially in the way that you had hoped and planed for. Be very careful about where you invest, who you lend money to, the potential for hard hitting unexpected expenses, and double check the fine print on anything money, resource or asset related. This can also be the break down in a family unit.
Libra - The Sun - FREEDOM, FREEDOM, FREEDOM! Much like Cancer, this is a time for having fun and living IN-joy. Take the moments and opportunities that you have and make the most of them. This isn’t about toxic positivity regarding a particular situation, circumstance or person, but rather the whole hearted embrace of positive force to propel you through to success.
Scorpio - The Magician - When the Magi appears, they are telling you that you have all of the tools necessary to manifest something in the real world, and that if at anytime you find yourself stuck, you always have a magic trick up your sleeve, Spirit. The Magus draws from Spirit to achieve their Great Work here on the physical plane, nothing is by chance and everything is through both personal and Divine Will. Tap into the power of Spirit and take guided action.
Sagittarius - Five of Cups RX - There has been darkness around you, a time of introspection, gloom and perhaps grief following loss, but now is the time to move in the direction of recovery. This isn’t a moving on in the sense of forgetting it ever happened, but rather the moving on that comes after you have processed the way that you have thought and felt. This can come through forgiveness or just finding a sense of peace and closure.
Capricorn - Ace of Pentacles - There is a new financial, business, or career opportunity, something that has long term potential. This can also come about as a gift, purchase, or as a pregnancy. If you are in need of making changes to these areas in your life, now is a good time to focus on them and harness manifestation powers. Remember that true manifestation power comes through Divine Alignment and Will, and that what is meant for you cannot pass you buy.
Aquarius - Eight of Pentacles RX - During this time there will be far less concern with output, and more concern with input as it relates to your personal development or a role your play. If you have been considering going back to school, learning something new or sharpening you skills, here’s your sign. This is a time for introspection and self development, the rest of the world will just have to wait.
Pisces - Seven of Wands - It’s going down forreal! Seriously things may get a bit hinky this season as you fight the good fight trying to keep your head above water or ward off competition and uphill challenges. Whatever gets thrown at you, you have the upper hand if you can just find it in yourself to buckle down, protect your self and stand your ground. Things will get overwhelming at times so do your best to prioritize and cut loses where you need to.
